The Supersword Lady

A genre-bending, anti-historical ride through 18th century Russia following the rise of Catherine the Nothing to Catherine the Great and her explosive relationship with husband Peter, the emperor of Russia.

Seven years after her family’s massacre, Jiang Chan discovers a link to Li Sha Lou, a secretive assassin organization. To uncover the truth, she masters her family’s martial arts, adopts the alias Hua Shan, and infiltrates the group.

In ancient times, humans, gods, and demons lived together, and the three kingdoms of Shennong, Xuanyuan, and Gaoxin stood together. Jiuyao (Xiaoyao) has gone through a hundred years of suffering, losing not only her identity but also her appearance. She settles down in Qingshui Town, becoming Wen Xiaoliu.

During the reign of Long Hua, court power struggles intertwine with a forbidden romance. Xiao Duo, a formidable eunuch conspiring with Prince Fu to seize the throne, rescues Bu Yinlou, a tribute lady meant to die for the late emperor. Forced into each other’s lives, they slowly fall in love despite their unequal status. Their bond deepens on a journey to Jiangnan, but threats from rival factions, the palace, and Xiao Duo’s hidden identity place them in constant danger. Caught between love and ambition, they must navigate betrayal and sacrifice as fate pushes them toward a perilous future.

In the manga, the seemingly righteous female antagonist is actually the orphan of a dark cult. Not wanting to be a villain, she continues her tasks to prevent the collapse of the world. Ultimately, she falls in love with the male lead and uncovers a conspiracy in the martial arts world.
