Surprise, Surprise is a British television programme originally hosted by Cilla Black and produced by London Weekend Television for ITV. It ran for 14 series from 6 May 1984 to 5 September 1997, after which four annual specials were produced between 1998 to 2001. In 2012, the show returned after a 11-year hiatus. The revived version is produced by ITV Studios and presented by Holly Willoughby. The show is currently in its second series.

Hanemon who had a stong code towards killing, where he would only kill those who do no good to be in the world, accepts this request. Baian Fujieda, a needle doctor would carry out the killing. However, the professional killer Baian fails to bring down Tatsumiya. Hanemon then looks to another shikakenin, the ronin Sanai Nishimura for the role. Although Sanai's ability with the sword is good, he lives poorly in a tenement, and accepts this commission on the condition that it is kept a secret from his wife and child. Here, they close in on Hanno and Tatsumiya again...

The history of the series develops around three Suvorov graduates - Ilya Sukhomlin, Stepan Perepechko and Alexei Syrnikov, who entered the Moscow Higher Military Command School at the end of the summer, where each of them is awarded the rank of junior sergeant. Along with the Suvorovites, graduates of ordinary schools, without a military education, called "schoolchildren" - Dmitry Krasilnikov, Gennady Varnava and Nikolai Kovnadsky, enter the school. Aleksey Syrnikov, meanwhile, is being transferred to the Ryazan Airborne School, which he dreamed about while still being a Suvorovite.

In the UK, the serial has been aired on Venus in 2007 and repeated on Sahara One from September 2012 to March 2013.
