Biography
Violeta Rivas (born Ana María Francisca Adinolfi, October 4, 1937 – June 23, 2018) was an Argentine singer and actress who rose to fame as a member of the popular musical program "El Club del Clan" alongside artists like Palito Ortega, Raúl Lavié, and Johnny Tedesco. She began her career in 1960 and achieved her first major solo hit with "Burbuja azul." Her biggest success came in 1967 with the song "¡Qué suerte!" She made her television debut in 1962 on Canal 7 and appeared in several films, including "Fiebre de primavera" (1967). Throughout the 1960s and beyond, she continued recording hit songs like "Colorado" and "El baile del ladrillo." She was married to fellow singer Néstor Fabián (José Cotelo) from 1967, with whom she had a daughter. Rivas passed away on June 23, 2018, in Buenos Aires due to renal failure.
