Biography
Scott Dreier is a voice actor who has done voice work for the English dub of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Scott Dreier's self-titled CD on LML Music heralds a fresh contemporary voice in the interpretation of the Great American songbook. Born and raised in Southern California, Scott’s early artistic influences stemmed primarily from his grandmother—the most ardent supporter of following his dream. Unlike the rest of Scott’s family to whom rhythm and pitch played no part of their everyday lives, music and art were integral to Marie Dreier, and she made sure Scott got a good dose of that ethic as well. Her belief was strong enough to propel Scott into performing and competing in song competitions, and by the age of 12 he had won his first on-stage accolades. Rock did not turn out to be Scott’s genre of choice. Using live performance and musical theater to hone his vocal chops, Scott starred in a road company production of “Forever Plaid,” and has portrayed Seymour in seven separate productions of “Little Shop of Horrors.” With the advent of the hot Adult Standards radio format, Scott has now found his niche. His influences are eclectic—a jumble of pop, big band, musical theater and film tunes which Scott has managed to compile into a cohesive package that grace his debut CD, Scott Dreier.
