Andrea Martin (born January 15, 1947) is an American-Canadian actress, singer, and comedian whose career spans television, film, and Broadway. She is best known for her Emmy Award-winning performances on the influential sketch comedy show SCTV, where she became famous for her memorable characters and sharp celebrity impersonations. On Broadway, Martin has won two Tony Awards for her roles in "My Favorite Year" and the revival of "Pippin," and she holds the record for the most Tony nominations for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, with credits in acclaimed productions such as "Noises Off," "Fiddler on the Roof," and "Young Frankenstein". In film, she is celebrated for her comedic role in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and its sequels, as well as appearances in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" and "Wag the Dog". Martin has also lent her voice to animated films, including "Anastasia" and "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius," further showcasing her versatility.
