Biography
Watson Proctor grew up in Apopka, Florida, before moving to Denver, Colorado, at 20 years old to pursue a degree in illustration. After graduating, she spent a year in Korea teaching before eventually returning to the States. Over the years, Watson has explored a variety of artistic mediums, with her work featured in multiple gallery and brewery exhibitions throughout Orlando. In addition to her visual art, Watson has spent several years as a regular co-host on her husband’s horror podcast, Frightmares. Years of watching, discussing, and dissecting horror films eventually inspired her to explore the genre from the other side of the camera. Dust Bunnies marks Watson’s directorial debut, but it’s only the beginning. She hopes to continue creating both short and feature-length films alongside her husband, blending her background in visual art with her lifelong love of horror.
