Biography
Coretti Arle-Titz was a Soviet pop singer. Her real name was Coretta Alfred. She was born in Mexico. In 1904, she toured Russia. She married pianist Boris Titz and remained in Russia. In the mid-1920s, she sang in L. Teplitsky's Leningrad jazz band. In 1945, she starred as Nan, an elderly black woman, in the film "Fifteen-Year-Old Captain." She died in Moscow.
