Biography
Born in Hyannis, Massachusetts, and a 1987 graduate of Barnstable High School, Guy LeMay headed West in 1992, landing in the middle of a high-energy Los Angeles music scene. It was there that he teamed up with a new circle of friends to start the punk outfit The Resistance. The band’s gritty, authentic sound caught the attention of legendary director Penelope Spheeris, earning them a featured performance in the iconic 1998 documentary, The Decline of Western Civilization Part III. Outside of the punk circuit, Guy brought his creative eye to the world of practical effects. Working as a model maker for genre visionary Stuart Gordon, he helped build the worlds of the sci-fi cult classic Space Truckers and the immersive Aliens: Ride at the Speed of Fright attraction. Before his return to the coast, Guy traded the studio for the motor pool, serving three years in the Army. While stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas, he pushed himself to the limit to earn the prestigious Expert Infantryman Badge (EIB)-a testament to his precision and tactical skill. He then completed his service with an honorable discharge as a Specialist in 2000. After returning home to Cape Cod in 2016, Guy shifted his focus toward a heavier sonic landscape. In 2020, he launched Electric Tomb, where he serves as the primary singer, songwriter, and producer. Most recently, Guy expanded his cinematic reach by handling the cinematography for the short film Hannah of the Dead, with Electric Tomb providing the film's crushing original soundtrack.
