Biography
Zarah Pagay is a Filipino actress whose work spans theater, film, television, and commercial productions. With extensive experience in both stage and screen, she has portrayed a wide range of characters, from dramatic and historical roles to comedic, supporting, and multiple-role performances. Zarah’s foundation in acting was built through theater, where she has worked with various theater companies and productions. Her theater credits include Gantimpala Theater Foundation, Tanghalan at Obra, Seventh Stage Production, Actors Theatre Company, Dulaang UP Laboratoryo, Nestor Torre’s Productions, Tanghalang Sta. Ana, and GAMA (Galaw Alternatibo Musika At Iba Pa). Her earlier theater roles include Si Jack at ang Mahiwagang Beanstalk, Katipunan, Sandosenang Sapatos, Si Totong Tipaklong at ang Kapangyarihan ng Tag-araw, Noli Me Tangere, Florante at Laura, Poknat the Musical, Bintao: Ang Buhay at Kabayanihan ni Wenceslao Vinzons, Summer and Smoke, and Las Viajeras. In 2025–2026, Zarah returned to the stage with Studio A Production, playing the Lead Role as Rose in Tulog Na. She also performed with T.A. Theater Production in May Rizz Pa Si Rizal, portraying the Lead Role as Pearl. Her film credits include Cinemalaya films such as Ang Nawawala and Mariquina, as well as DAGIT, Landas, Bukod Kang Pinagpala Sa Babaeng Lahat, Zulu, Ngayon Araw, BlockZ, My Sassy Girl, and 3 Words. She has also worked as a writer and director, including on DAGIT and Pag-ibig Sa Gitna Ng Sakuna. Her performance in TUPI earned her Best Actress at the Reelegacy Film Festival, while Mike received a Best Actress nomination at the Sorok Short Film Festival. On television, Zarah has appeared in numerous productions for ABS-CBN, GMA, TV5, and Net 25, taking on roles including reporters, doctors, police officers, court personnel, nurses, political analysts, and other supporting and multiple roles. Her recent television and streaming credits include Blood Versus Duty (2026) as Reporter, and Cignal Play’s Vertical Series The Chambermaid as Martha. Beyond acting, Zarah has also worked behind the scenes as a director, writer, stage manager, props master, and production staff, demonstrating her versatility and deeper understanding of the performing arts. Her commercial work includes campaigns for Medicol Advance, GCash, DigiPlus, FEMME Tissue, Petron Gasul, Flash, Unli Wings, Vicks Vaporub, Cashalo, and Tide, while her music video work includes Sarah Geronimo’s Sandata.
