Biography
Aidan Walsh (born 2 January 2007) is an emerging American filmmaker and media creator whose work blends cinematic storytelling with a sharp sense of humor and student-life realism. Known for his involvement in broadcast media, original productions, and school performances, he has developed a foundation in directing, performance, and visual storytelling, positioning himself as a rising voice among young filmmakers. His projects reflect a growing interest in both narrative filmmaking and audience-focused content. Raised in Pennsylvania, Walsh cultivated an interest in film and media production during his time at Kiski Area High School. He played a central role in Good Morning Kiski from 2022 to 2025, serving as Station Manager, Cameraman, and Anchor, where he gained hands-on experience in live production, editing, and on-camera presence. Alongside broadcast work, he participated in stage productions, appearing in Little Shop of Horrors, Phantom of the Opera, and taking on a lead role as Feargal McFerrin III in Back to the 80’s. These experiences strengthened his understanding of performance, timing, and audience engagement. At Point Park University, Walsh created Movie Night, an original narrative production developed within the Film and Animation program. Written and filmed by Walsh, the project centers on the shared theater experience, using character-driven comedy to explore moviegoing culture from audience etiquette to clashing personalities in a cinema setting. Through scripted dialogue, staged cinematography, and situational humor, Movie Night demonstrates his ability to craft structured scenes, direct performances, and build comedic tension within a contained environment. In 2025, Walsh graduated from Kiski Area High School and began pursuing a BFA in Cinema Production at Point Park University. As he continues his education, he aims to expand his technical skill set in directing, cinematography, and editing, while developing original projects that reflect both a personal voice and broad audience appeal. With a background that bridges live broadcasting, theater, and film, Walsh represents a new generation of filmmakers eager to merge practical experience with creative ambition.
