Nathalie MacDermott is a UK based medical doctor with significant experience in paediatric infectious diseases, and medical response to disaster and epidemic situations in Africa and Asia. Nathalie gained her PhD from Imperial College London, which investigated genetic susceptibility to Ebola virus disease in West Africa, the different phenotypes of disease and the dynamics of disease spread in communities. Among other work she has spent time in Liberia, West Africa, serving in clinics to manage Ebola outbreaks, as well as in emergency clinics in the Philippines and Haiti.
Nathalie is a clinical lecturer at Kings College London in paediatrics and infectious diseases. She appeared in "Second Chance" where she spoke about her Christian faith.
