Kyaw Ko Thant Sin (George K.) is a filmmaker from Myanmar, currently based in Bangkok, Thailand. His latest short film, “The Favor (2025)”, is currently in the film festival circuit. His music video “Eain Mat Yae Athet (2024)” by Bunny Phyo & Bobby Soxer has over 24 million views on YouTube. His short film “Story of Terra (2024)”, a hybrid of live-action and animation, won the Best Creative Award at the Ripple Short Film Festival, Thailand. “Sorry That I Left (2023)” was officially selected at the Freedom Festival International in Colombia, USA, while his short film “Food Dating (2022)” premiered at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Thailand, the Friese-Greene Club, Thailand, and screened at the 8th Asian University Film Festival in Beijing, China.
In 2025, George completed his second degree, a Bachelor of Communication Arts in Innovative Media Production from the Bangkok University. He previously earned his first degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Newcastle, Australia, in 2017.
In Thailand, George worked as a Production Associate and In-House Director for Greenlight Films. He has also directed, written, and edited projects for agencies and organizations, including Lalicorn Agency, Mar Vivo Films, Lighthouse Travel, the Netherlands Embassy, Canadian Embassy, Silpakorn University, Bangkok University, UNDP, IFES, the American Chamber of Commerce, Sasin School of Management, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA)-Thailand Chapter and Pride at Work Organisation.
