Jonah Medland was born and raised and currently resides in Markham, Ontario (2025.) He is a Toronto Film School Graduate, where he studied acting, writing and directing for Film and TV. During his time at TFS he did star in many short films such as Clockwork Tension and The Honest Guest by Jon Osei. In addition to this he did lead in the silent film Happy Anniversary directed by Gavril Balane. He made appearances in other films such as the feature The EZ Line by John Tench and I Just Can't Stand You Anymore by Shahar Shamay. To top it all off he did also play the lead as the character "Winston" in the play 1984 directed by Jonathan Whittaker.
