Born in the U.S., raised in Ecuador, and now based in Canada, Laura is a screenwriter with experience in short films and story editing. She started out by winning Best Drama Short Film at the International ISP Film Festival in 2023, then studied Writing for Film and Television at Toronto Film School. There, she wrote several short films and story edited others, one of which won Best College Short at the New Jersey Film Awards. Laura writes thrillers with strong character arcs
