Biography
Karen Waldrup is a BMI songwriter known for her Country Soul music with over 1.3 Million Social Media Followers and over half a billion online video views. She is a proud member of The Recording Academy, the Country Music Association, and a partner with Mission of Hope: Haiti and Hope for Haiti. As a Top 5 Finalist on Season 25 of NBC’s The Voice, Waldrup has captivated national audiences and earned widespread recognition in Rolling Stone, People Magazine, Netflix, The Hallmark Channel, Bravo TV, CMT, Fox, Military.com, and more. Her performances have graced stages from NASCAR ESPN Live to Super Bowl XLVII’s NFL Experience, named Facebook Artist of the Day and spent 21 weeks at #1 for Taste of Country's Top Music Videos 2025 with Blue Cowboy Boots- the most weeks any artist has ever spent at #1 on the platform. Waldrup’s accolades include 12 Nashville Industry Music Awards and the 2019 Torch Award from the Keith Whitley Fingerprint on Country Music Awards. In 2023, Country Evolution recognized her as a Top 5 Artist to Watch. Her debut album, JUSTIFIED—produced by the legendary Garth Fundis (Trisha Yearwood, Don Williams, Alabama) made an impressive debut on four Billboard charts. The standout track “Sometimes He Does” was celebrated by Rolling Stone as one of the Top 10 Country and Americana Songs of the Week and praised by renowned music critic Robert Oermann as “Disc of the Day,” calling Waldrup “a real deal country singer.” Her album, Kendall County Road, produced by Grammy-winning producers Paul Worley and Biff Watson, is a heartfelt collection that includes collaborations with WW2 D-Day veteran Jim Martin on the song "Normandy" and singer Wendy Moten on “Nothing Is Impossible,” and the nostalgic title track that reflects on family and home. With performances in over 15 countries, Karen Waldrup and her band continue to bridge the timeless charm of classic country with modern innovation, making her a standout force in today’s country music scene.
