Yamile is a Writer/Director/DP/Photographer located in Brooklyn, New York. When Yamile was nine years old, she migrated with her immediate family from Peru to the states in pursuit of a better future. She found her outlet soon after: viewing life through the camera, and creating stories that invite people to question their relationships with themselves and with others. She graduated from FSU’s College of Motion Picture Arts, with a specialization in direction. Now, she’s on a mission to continue her passion of storytelling.
