Biography
Martin Safaryan is an Armenian actor and emerging filmmaker. He began his acting career at an early age as one of the first students of Trio Studio. His breakthrough stage performance came in 2018 at the Paronyan State Musical Comedy Theatre, where he portrayed the Grinch in a New Year’s production. Safaryan rose to wider recognition for his role as Aharon in the TV series “Depi Chambar”, appearing across multiple seasons, a feature film, and a stage adaptation. He has also participated in various television and entertainment projects, including “Emoji Sketch Show”. In 2022, he received the “Trio Oscar” award for Best Comic Actor. Alongside acting, Safaryan has developed experience in filmmaking, independently producing several short films and gaining hands-on knowledge of on-set production processes. He studied at TUMO Center for Creative Technologies (O Level graduate) and later pursued programming at the Abovyan State Energy College, where he was actively involved in student leadership and organizational activities. Driven by a strong interest in storytelling and visual direction, Safaryan is focused on the full creative process of filmmaking - from concept development to final production - and aims to establish himself as a film director.
