Biography
Mairim Inés is an actress, model, dancer, interdisciplinary artist and human rights defender. Graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus obtaining the degree of Bachelor in the Drama Program with concentration in Acting, and another in Foreign Languages with emphasis in Italian and Portuguese. As an actress, she has brought to life several theater productions presented at the University of Puerto Rico, including Steel Magnolias (2016), Flor de Presidio (2017), The Glass Menagerie (2018), and Breaking Up (2019), among others. In 2022, she was signed by Talentos K Agency as new talent. That same year, she worked as a stand-in and photo double for Cristin Milioti in the role of Emma for the series The Resort on Peacock. She also took on her first leading role in the short film El Desamparo. In 2023, she appeared as a voice-over cameo in Mara Has Three Jobs in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a SAG-AFTRA short film. That same year, she worked as the lead in the short film Epilogo. In 2026, she worked as the lead in the short film De Vuelta a La Realidad, directed by Gerardo Ramírez Rivera. Also, the same year, she appeared as a Puerto Rican folkloric bomba dancer in Presente short film, which debuted on Instagram and went viral within two days. In 2021, she had the opportunity to travel to New York City to participate in the Coco Rocha Model Camp (Cycle 57), where she trained in modeling with Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha. During this master class, she was photographed by Matthew Tyler Priestley, a photographer published in New York.
