Biography
Jess Rizo is an actress and director based in Los Angeles, California. Of Sicilian, Mexican, and Native American heritage, she is fluent in Spanish and spent much of her childhood between Silicon Valley and Mexico. She made her directorial debut with A New Day, a feature documentary following a Skid Row basketball team through a season of recovery, struggle, and resilience. As an actress, Jess is known for her lead role as Stacia in the action thriller Assassins Code alongside John Savage, and for guest starring as Esther in Netflix’s One Day at a Time opposite Judy Reyes. She has also appeared in numerous national campaigns for brands including Clinique, Amazon, Chevy, Wells Fargo, Old Navy, and Diet Pepsi.
