I’m an award-winning filmmaker based in Barcelona, Spain, with a focus on crafting emotional, authentic stories that inspire. Originally from Freiburg, Germany, I started my career in business informatics (B.Sc.) and worked for four years as a software engineer before following my true passion for film. At 25, I refined my directing and cinematography skills at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, where I earned a scholarship to study cinematography in the masterclass program at La Fémis in Paris.
During film school, I directed my debut feature, Flying Revolution, a documentary about Germany’s Flying Steps Dance Crew, which won international awards and topped the iTunes documentary charts. After graduation, I moved to the Philippines and launched KAIZEN STUDIO, my own boutique production company. Through collaborations with talented artists across Europe and Southeast Asia, KAIZEN STUDIO produces branded content, documentaries, and storytelling projects with a global reach.
I’ve been fortunate to work with brands like Red Bull, Nike, McDonald’s, Warner Music, BMW, and Snipes, creating impactful content that resonates with audiences. My latest short documentary, Panje, highlighting the work of an NGO in Zanzibar, won an award at the Cannes YDA.
