A director who was born in Lanzhou, raised in Shenzhen, and studied film in Hong Kong. She graduated from The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts with a Master of Fine Arts in Cinema Production. Her graduation film, In Praise Of Teachers (2018), was screened at the 40th Golden Harvest Awards & Short Film Festival in Taiwan. Her recent short film, Sunny Side Up (2020), won Best Film (Short Film) at New York Film Week 2020. It has also been screened in Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Cannes, etc. She believes that movies should be like life, not limited by time and space.
