Ali is a Bahraini stand-up comedian, actor, voice actor, writer, and director.
He was one of the first generation of stand-up comics in the Arabian Gulf in 2007. He quickly grew in popularity, and demand for his material took him all over the region. From local shows, to him opening for international stars like Maz Jobrani and Omid Djalili.
Stand-up took Ali down the road of voice acting, and then acting. From radio work, to shorts and commercials.. Ali then established his "Misfitz-Comedy" sketch comedy program in 2015, which was solely based on his stand-up material in the middle east. A few of his sketches went viral in the region and he was invited to do a TEDx Talk later in the same year titled The power of comedy, under the theme of Driving Destiny.
In 2017, Ali was granted the Fulbright Scholarship to pursue a Filmmaking degree in Los Angeles until the time when he moves back to Bahrain and contributes to building the Arabian-Gulf Cinematic Narrative.
Upon moving back to the Gulf in 2020, Ali established his production company Wikkid Productions, and has been working on a variety of projects from corporate and commercial projects, music videos, and narrative films.
