Adnan Soykot is a young independent filmmaker and film student from Bangladesh. He is studying at the department of film and television in Jagannath University, Dhaka. After working in some feature films, short films & ovc he made his first short film 'Puroskar (2022)' which was shown on various international film festival and won several awards including Best Film in One Leaf Film Festival in Kolkata, India & Jury Special Award in 3rd Mon Premier Film Festival in Paris, France. Recently he directed a full-length drama for bongo original called 'Aladiner Prodeepe Jevabe Doitya Elo'. He also produced some short films & documentary and directed several ovc & music videos under the banner of his own rising production company named 'Khirki Films'. He got The Research & Developments Grant in EYFT 2024 of 12th Dhaka DocFest as an executive producer for their upcoming project 'The Last Leaf'. Besides filmmaking he is a film editor and graphic designer.
