Sanish Maharjan is a filmmaker from Lalitpur, Nepal, specializing in writing and directing. A graduate of Oscar International College, his work explores human emotions, interpersonal relationships, and culturally rooted narratives. His short films Kija Puja, Vairagya, and Shadows of the Past have been recognized across multiple international film festivals. Currently, he is developing a feature film and a web series, expanding his storytelling into long-form narratives. He aims to create emotionally grounded stories that connect with both local and global audiences. Outside filmmaking, he enjoys chess and exploring new places along with trying out fun adventures.
