Biography
Caroline Brauner is an American child actress recognized for her emotionally authentic performances, natural screen presence, and instinctive approach to grounded, behavior-driven storytelling. She stars as Livvy Williams in the upcoming feature thriller Compound, portraying the daughter of a family living in complete isolation deep within the Texas woods. Directed by James Mulcahy, Compound has already generated early industry attention ahead of its festival run, with Caroline’s performance earning praise for its authenticity, emotional intelligence, and remarkable ability to remain truthful under demanding, immersive filming conditions. Beyond Compound, Caroline has built an impressive body of work across independent film. She appears as Young Alex in Whistle Down Wind and has been featured in the acclaimed short films Being Dead Should Be Easy and There’s Something I Have to Tell You, with her work showcased at more than twenty film festivals. She is also part of the award-winning ensemble cast of Being Dead Should Be Easy, which received Best Ensemble Cast at the Los Feliz Film Festival, and appears in Kick Time, directed by Thomas Ian Griffith. A SAG-AFTRA member represented by Eris Talent Agency and managed by Thruline Entertainment, Caroline is known for taking direction with precision, connecting deeply with emotionally layered material, and delivering performances that feel remarkably lived-in. Whether working in drama, thriller, horror, or family-centered stories, she brings a quiet emotional honesty and maturity beyond her years.
