Ian Tuason is a Filipino-Canadian filmmaker and author. He is best known for directing the horror film Undertone (2025).
He is also known for his live-action virtual-reality and POV horror shorts, including Sit Back, Uncanny Valley, and Experience: Colorblind, which collectively amassed millions of views online. In 2025, it was announced that Tuason would team up with James Wan and Blumhouse on the eighth entry in the Paranormal Activity series, marking his transition from digital-native and VR horror into a major theatrical release.
