Aly Mohamed Nagaty
Director of the film "Response to a Listener's Silence"
an Egyptian director and screenwriter, born in Alexandria. He studied filmmaking at the Jesuit Film School and documentary film production at Cinedelta School.
He has directed two narrative short films: "Improvised Show" and "Response to a Listener's Silence".
In addition to directing, he has worked in various roles on other films, including as an art direction assistant and assistant director. He also contributed as a screenwriter to several short films, such as "Rehearsal" (story and co-screenwriter), directed by Dalia Mahmoud, and "Live Show" (co-screenwriter), directed by Bishoy Kamel.
Nagaty is currently a co-writer of the feature film project "Chimera", which is under development and has received a grant from the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC), directed by Islam Kamal.
He also served as a jury member at the Les Bobines Alexandrines Festival.
