Talgat Safarov is a Russian director, producer, music video maker, and musician. In 2018, he began close collaboration with the label Rhymes Music, producing a series of successful music videos for artists such as Ganvest, Friendzone, Dora, Deti Rave, and Alyona Shvets. Between 2022 and 2023, he created an experimental trilogy of short films exploring otherworldly realms. Since 2023, he has been working on producing documentary films. He co-directed the documentary series "That's Wine!" which had an extensive geographic reach across six countries. The series aired in Europe, the UK, and New Zealand, and received Silver Telly Awards. In 2024, he participated in the production of the feature-length documentary film "Ufaboyz," which explores the phenomenon of Russian local music scene. He draws inspiration from the works of postmodernist directors such as Gaspar Noé, Nicolas Winding Refn, and David Lynch.
