Matt Dionne is an award-winning writer and producer based in Toronto, Canada.
His scripts primarily fall into the comedy and drama genres - his dramas tend to explore themes related to identity, social structures, and mental health through gritty realism, while his comedies often still deal with serious subject matter, but in a much more witty and sardonic way.
He is a graduate of York University's Screenwriting program, and the Toronto Film School's Film Production program.
He's also a member of the Ontario chapter of the Director's Guild of Canada
