Jaiden Thompson is an NYU Tisch School of the Arts alum with over three years of experience as a camera lighting technician under the IATSE Local 52 union. He's worked in the G&E department on a range of New York-based television productions, including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon), Law & Order (NBC), The Watcher (Netflix), and American Horror Story (FX). Beyond his work in G&E, he's received directing mentorship through the Television Academy Foundation within the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which further shaped his approach to storytelling. Jaiden has been involved in all stages of film production and has freelanced as a line producer on the short sci-fi drama Deliver Me, which premiered at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival. He also produced the short family drama Brooklyn Reverie, which premiered at the 2025 Pan African Film Festival. More recently, he's taken on cinematography and interview work for a fintech prediction market company, traveling across the country to political rallies during the 2024 presidential election. This project allowed Jaiden to capture on-the-ground footage and conduct interviews with supporters from both major parties, further honing his ability to document real-world perspectives through film.
