Originally from Mission, Texas, Beto’s interest in public policy and government was shaped by growing up along the U.S./Mexico border as the son of immigrant parents.
Beto currently holds the position of CEO & Co-founder of Irys Technologies, which has recently expanded by acquiring Diversified Technical Services Inc. (DTSI), one of San Antonio’s oldest and most reputable cybersecurity and information technology firms. Under his leadership, Irys Technologies, founded in 2017, has developed impactful government technology tools, including the City of San Antonio 311 App, which has significantly improved the lives of thousands of residents in our city.
