Born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Katarina Kat is a green-eyed blonde of Russian heritage. Katarina was a circus performer from the age of three, a contortionist and aerial gymnast who worked with some of the greatest names in that field, including Ringling Brothers and even Cirque du Soleil. Sadly, her circus career came to a painful end on February 13, 2004. At a performance with the Matrix Circus in North Carolina, she fell 40 feet from her trapeze and landed on concrete, breaking both of her legs, several ribs, and every bone in her arms. Surgeries and extensive physical therapy gave her back the use of her limbs, but she couldn't go back to performing with the circus.
