Manuel J. Peña is a Puerto Rican filmmaker, director, and producer, and the founder of MJ Production Films LLC. He began producing projects at a young age and has developed a body of work that spans independent cinema, television, and digital platforms.
His work focuses on character-driven stories rooted in Puerto Rican culture, blending comedy, drama, and genre elements with a contemporary voice. In addition to directing, Peña is actively involved in film distribution and exhibition through MJ Production Films and the streaming platform MJ TV.
He continues to develop feature films, series, and original content while supporting emerging voices in the Caribbean audiovisual industry.
