Paula Pereira graduated from the School of Audiovisual Studies in Vigo with a Professional Certificate in Film Editing and Postproduction, including an ERASMUS+ placement in Lisbon at the production company ZULFILMES, where she works as an editor.
In 2024, she received the AGADIC grant for Audiovisual Creation to promote Galician talent, thanks to her project Algo novo que contar, which is currently in postproduction. That same year, she directed and co-edited the music video Hi my love by Sabela, currently nominated for Best Music Video at the 2025 Mestre Mateo Awards.
In 2023, she wrote and directed her first short film Despois de ti, which won first place at the Desafío Audiovisual Illas Cíes lab and was awarded Best Short Film in the Novas Camadas section at the Festival de Cans. In the same year, she also won Best Short Film in the Fasmuvis section at OUFF with Prata.
