Howden Ganley, born on December 24, 1941, in Hamilton, New Zealand, is a former Formula 1 driver and accomplished motorsport engineer. Ganley began his career as a mechanic and engineer, working his way through the motorsport ranks in Europe. His mechanical skill and determination eventually led him to a driving career, debuting in Formula 1 with the BRM team in 1971.
Ganley competed in Formula 1 from 1971 to 1974, racing for teams like BRM, Iso-Marlboro, and March.
