Ryan Fusco is a writer/director/editor based in Orlando, Florida. He began directing short films during his time at Valencia College and University of Central Florida. His short film, TO CATCH LIGHTNING, won the Audience Award at Central Florida Film Slam which led to its premiere at Florida Film Festival in 2024. His thesis film, A DELICACY FOR DEVILS, had its premiere at Brouhaha Film & Video Showcase in 2025. It is currently in its festival cycle.
Inspired by the likes of the New Hollywood movie brats and the post-war 50s Japanese directors such as Kurosawa and Ozu, his films take a formalist approach that merge with modern sensibilities to create an audiovisual experience that moves his audience.
