From Autlán de Navarro, Jalisco, Imanol Vidal Martínez Avendaño is a graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Arts from the Department of Image and Sound (DIS) at CUAAD, University of Guadalajara (UDG). He has worked in various aspects of filmmaking, including direction, cinematography, and editing, with a particular love for the documentary genre.
He is beneficiaryof the Grodman Scholarship for Artistic Production of Graduation Projects (2021) and the Proyecta Producción Trust (2022) from the Jalisco Department of Culture.
Imanol received the Youth Award in the Arts and Culture category from the Autlán de Navarro
Youth Institute (2021).
