Biography
She handled the editing, sound, and production of 28 short films, and wrote and directed the following 35mm short films: “Reflejos en el vidrio sobre la vida de una obrera que trabaja en una fábrica de vidrio en Lima-Perú”; Carlos Germán Belli, evocación del poeta peruano”; “Sintonía”, a fictional film that tells the story of an advertising executive and his relationship with the character in the short story he is trying to write; “Nemesis,” about the only woman condemned to be burned at the stake by the Holy Inquisition in 1736; and “Creación,” a film about a videographer who recounts a childhood memory. She directed “Mujer Hoy,” a newsreel about various activities of women in the country; and “Vicus, noticiero cinematográfico cultural” (30 issues). She served as Executive Producer on five feature films, including “Juliana,” by Grupo Chaski. She directed the videos for the "Primero los Niños" Campaign, sponsored by the National Commission for Social Communications of the Catholic Bishops' Conference. She produced the "For Life" literacy training video for UNICEF. She directed "Waru-Waru, recuperando el pasado," a video documentary about ancestral irrigation and cultivation techniques in the Andean highlands for CARE-Peru and the Embassy of the Netherlands. She co-directed "El Rosario Humano," a 30-second spot for the Archdiocese of Lima in 2004. She has been a professor of Communications since 1991. She served as Vice President of CONACINE in 2008. She directed extras for "Blindspot" - Season 4, episodes 8 and 12 - NBC-1405 Comunicaciones SAC.
