Biography
Devin is a visual storyteller working across filmmaking, photography, and styling. Her global upbringing—spanning South Africa, the U.S., Spain, and Canada—shapes a perspective that’s both expansive and deeply personal. Known for her bold, offbeat style, Devin creates colorful, visually striking work that reflects her unique lens on the world. She’s the creator of the Oopsy Daisy trilogy—Rug Burn and Nothing Mattress included—quirky, sharp-edged shorts about the disillusionment of true love. The trilogy has won dozens of awards and was screened at the Big Apple Film Festival and Iron Mule Comedy Festival in New York. Devin's latest short, Flight Risk, follows a girl spiraling into three imagined outcomes after texting a boy from the internet—basically a rom-com for chronic overthinkers. It’s currently on the festival circuit and speaks to the chaos and confusion of modern dating. Devin is the co-founder of Fourth Floor Film, an independent production company with a growing slate of creative work—including acclaimed short films, music videos, and the TV pilot Leonard, Lucy, and the Road to Fame, a darkly funny series about two fame-obsessed teens unraveling in the age of identity crisis. She holds degrees from Barrett, the Honors College at ASU, and Vancouver Film School, and most recently worked on Percy Jackson and the Olympians as the director’s assistant, managing schedules, scripts, and occasionally dealing with the demands of demigods.
