At age 19, José Luis moved to New York City to study at Broadway Dance Center with high hopes of becoming a musical theater actor. Obsessed with theater, story, tap and baking, he started to delve and apply every- thing he learned from theater into stories and film. At 23 he moved to Mexico City to produce his first short film ¡Beso de lengua! He currently has more fiction film projects developing.
