Jalani is an American actor who works in both theatre and film. She earned a BA in Theatre from the University of California, San Diego, where she honed her skills through diverse roles in productions ranging from Shakespearean classics to world premiere dramas and comedies. She also starred in several short films during her time there.
Continuing her artistry in Japan, Jalani recently brought one of her dream roles, Ophelia, to life in Sheepdog Theatre's production of Hamlet. Also with Sheepdog Theatre, she recently appeared as Mary in The Little Fellow by Kate Hammil.
