Hussain Munawwar, known as Kuda Foolhu, is a Maldivian film director, actor, and cinematographer. His breakthrough came in 2006 when he portrayed the manipulative character Kudafoolhu in the short film series “Vasvaas.” He later starred in “Loodhifa” (2011) and made his directorial debut with “Sazaa,” a romantic drama. Despite negative reviews for his second film, “Dhilakani,” Munawwar’s talent as a director was recognized, earning him accolades at the Gaumee Film Awards. His work explores themes of vengeance, redemption, and societal issues .
