Biography
Vinícius Consi, an advertising professional and art director from Salvador - BA, develops works focused on artistic and creative areas, mainly working in art production and direction within audiovisual and advertising. Coming from social projects, he is directly involved with popular culture movements, aiming to promote the preservation and diffusion of peripheral cultures through art. He is responsible for the art direction of the following music videos: "Maresia" by Rachel Reis, "Não Fosse Tão Tarde" by Lou Garcia, and "Drink de Gin" by Gominho. In 2021, he signed the art direction for the dance film "Like Onions" and the dance video "Oxowusi", both funded by the University of Florida. He assisted with the art direction for the launch campaign of the project "Salvador Capital Afro", the end-of-year comedy special "Humor Negro" for Multishow, and produced objects for the commercial breaks of Itaú's 2022 World Cup campaign. In 2023, he was awarded Best Art Direction at the X CineVirada with the short film "Loci Loci" in the Bahia Competitive Showcase. He also signed the art direction for the short films "Tigrezza", "Três:." and "Caio". He makes his debut as director and screenwriter with "By Popular Demand, Capelinha is Back!", reaffirming his passion and involvement with popular and peripheral culture movements.
