Biography
His work has centered in diverse areas of the film and TV business. He started by producing documentaries and miniseries for Colombian broadcasting stations. Simultaneously, he directed some fiction shorts films and since 2004 he is working in advertising as a director of commercials. Several spots stand out with entries in Cannes Lions, Festival Iberoamericano de Publicidad-FIAP, El Ojo de Iberoamérica and Caribe’s International Advertising Festival. In 2003, he directed the short film THE EYE OF GOD, which has been exhibited in festivals in Buenos Aires, Toulouse, Cannes, Madrid, Berlin and New York. In 2009, his experimental short film TIME LINE, was selected in Interfilm Berlin. In 2010 he obtained two important prizes in Promax BDA Latam and El Ojo de Iberoamérica, as Creative Director and Producer for his public broadcasting campaigns for Radio Televisión de Colombia/RTVC. His debut feature MEMENTO MORI was winner of the Colombian Film Fund, a Colombian-German co-production and premiered at the 62º Cartagena International Film Festival in 2023.
