Kayla Njeri, a Los Angeles native and Kenyan American, is known for her determined nature, bright talent, and ability to be versatile. She got her start when she followed her little sister to her print ad job, and the producer asked Kayla who she was and when she responded with "a ray of sunshine," the producer hired her on the spot. That sparked Kayla's love and passion for performing and getting laughs. Kayla's breakthrough role came as Mercedes Cooper in Disney + Worlds Best , produced by Thomas Kail and Utkarsh Ambudkar. She most recently acted alongside Yara Shahidi in her new executively produced film "Sitting in Bars with Cake."
