An innovator in fashion modeling, she was one of the first to combine popular styles of her time with traditional motifs. She was inspired mainly by the Bukovyna style of clothing. The starting point of her career was a dress for the heroine Sofiya Rotaru in the musical "Red Ruta". Known for creating many stage costumes for Sofia Rotaru and the instrumental band "Smerichka". Alla Dutkovska contributed to the change of stereotypes regarding the Ukrainian variety show in the artistic design of stage clothes. For over 25 years, he worked as a teacher at the Chernivtsi Art Children's School.
