Michael Goldburg is an award-winning writer/director who earned his M.F.A. at NYU's Grad Film Program. Michael's films, including his recently celebrated AARON WITH 2 A'S, have screened at Oscar-qualifying festivals, garnered numerous awards, including Best Director and Best Screenplay, and are featured on Amazon Prime and Funny or Die. He has worked with creators from Comedy Central and The Onion, is a former script consultant with ScriptLaunch, and is an in-demand screenwriter for hire, recently co-writing a psychological thriller, NOT DARK YET, for an independent producer.
Michael's celebrated feature screenplay, SURE-FIRE, is a top-ranked script on Coverfly and has placed in numerous prestigious screenwriting competitions, including ScreenCraft, CineStory, Shore Scripts, ISA, Filmmatic, and Beverly Hills. His proof of concept short film for SURE-FIRE has screened at numerous prominent festivals and won multiple awards, including Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Comedy, and Best Actor.
