Jake Daniels is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward. Daniels gained recognition after coming out as gay, becoming the UK's only male professional footballer to be publicly out in 2022, and the first since Justin Fashanu in 1990, 32 years ago. For his activism as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Daniels has been awarded with the Attitude 'Gamechanger' Award, and was nominated for a National Diversity Award.
