Lucas Sogas López is a student in Cinematography with the highest scholarship of excellence at ESCAC (Catalonia Film School). He turned his university education upside down by giving up his medical studies after four years to pursue his passion for film. He has worked in direction and production departments for Spanish short films and music videos and been part of the crew of the English Netflix series "Who Is Erin Carter". “Car Wash” his debut short film as writer, director and producer, which he self-funded and completed before entering film school, is currently being distributed at national and international film festivals, and premiered at this year's BFI Flare: London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival.
