Violeta Cárcova is an Argentinian director, assistant director, screenwriter and producer. She began her artistic education since she was a child with musical theater lessons. Trained in acting, singing and dancing, she grew up interested in cinema and studied Film Direction at the Cinema University of Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina. She's also trained in dramaturgy with various teachers and has been part of different work groups in film, advertising and theater productions. She currently works at her own production company, Mayka, and her first debut as a movie actress was in 2024 with the film The Astronaut Lovers, from prolific director Marco Berger.
